The first Ilfracombe Running Club Starlight Challenge: Battle Across Baggy Point took place on Saturday, 22nd of March 2025. We were lucky to have perfect conditions for a night trail events - dry course and, most importantly, starry skies.
Ilfracombe Running Club would like to thank everyone who sponsored, helped out or participated in making our first night race such a success. Heartfelt thanks to you all!
Organising any race requires lots of time, patience and planning - as usual, IRC had a power house of a race team to ensure that the event ran smoothly. Special thanks go to Jay and Chris who did most of the hardwork, allowing race director Ray Williams to only have to worry about the flawless allocation of spot prizes (ahem). Also, thanks to the Woolacombe Dunes Parkrun team who went above and beyond in the promotion of our event.
We hope to see you all at our next night trail event....
