We are a running club who cater for all abilities - from the sprint merchants to the grinding plodders. We are here to get fit and have fun. For those who want to take their running to the next level, we offer detailed training sessions with qualified coaches. For those who've not slapped on a pair of running shoes since they left school, we run beginners sessions - see here for all the latest details. We also cater for people completely new to running on our regular club night. With Ilfracombe Running Club, you will never get left behind.

Our regular club night is Thursday, at Ilfracombe Football Club, Marlborough Park, Marlborough Way, Ilfracombe. Our runs start around 7pm, so it's best to be there from 645pm onwards. Runners are arranged in groups by ability, with each group having its own leader.
We have showers and bar facilities for after the run. During the warmer months we live to stretch our wings and venture away from Ilfracombe. You can always find details of our runs on our Facebook Page.
If you want to progress as a runner and smash all your PBs, then we can offer you speed sessions that will shape your muscles and make your legs ace accelerators. All our speed sessions are conducted by qualified coaches.
Again, you will need to keep an eye on our Facebook Page for details, but we run speed sessions on Mondays and there are strength and conditioning sessions on Tuesdays
We definitely never forget that we are a club. We try to make being a member of Ilfracombe Running Club as memorable an experience as possible for all our runners, and that includes the social side of things! We hold regular special events throughout the year, and legendary 'Gif' pizza nights.
Yes, we exist to run, but we exist to have fun as well!
