The 36th edition of the famous Doone Run was held on the Sunday 21st of September 2025. Ilfracombe Running Club would like to thank everyone who sponsored, helped out or participated in making our third staging of The Doone Run another resounding success and some new names on the famous old trophies. Heartfelt thanks to you all!

As promised by Race Director Kathryn Beades - the weather was indeed mediterranean - the Doone Dream Team (TM) did it again. There are too many people who have helped to list, but needless to say organising any race is not easy and requires lots of time, patience and planning. Sadly, Katherine steps down after three years of hard work - everyone at IRC would like to thank her for all her hardwork at putting the Doone back on the race schedule where it belongs.
